Gabriel Gudmundsson torn apart after ‘crazy’ incident with Leeds star – ‘Everything fell apart’
Gabriel Gudmundsson has already suffered an international week to forget away from Leeds United.
Gudmundsson started the break under concussion protocol, missing training with Sweden and Graham Potter in his first camp as their manager.
After Gudmundsson returned to training, the left-back started on the bench for the Swedes against Switzerland on Saturday evening.
Coming on in the second half, it was a night to forget for the Leeds defender, who played a big role in his country losing 4-1 and with no hope of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.

Gabriel Gudmundsson called out in Sweden
Gudmundsson played a massive role in the defeat, with his failed back pass leading to a penalty when the scores were tied in Geneva.
Svenska Fans started their ratings with a 1/5 for the left-back, who, despite starting strong when coming off the bench, soon crashed and burned.
They say “everything fell apart” after Gudmundsson’s terrible back pass, which led to a penalty for Switzerland, which Granit Xhaka scored.
Sportbladet continued the fallout, labelling the attempted pass as “crazy” as Breel Embolo stole in to steal a foul from Viktor Johansson.

Leeds return from the international break with four dreadful fixtures against Aston Villa, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool.
Daniel Farke will need his squad, including Gudmundsson, in much better form to survive that.
How have Leeds United players fared this week ahead of huge games
It’s certainly been a contrasting week for those in white away from Elland Road.
Gudmundsson and Jaka Bijol both crashed to embarrassing defeats on Saturday, with Slovenia losing 2-0 to Kosovo, ahead of them playing each other next.
Karl Darlow, Dan James, Ethan Ampadu and Joe Rodon all started for Wales in a bleak 1-0 win over Liechtenstein, keeping their World Cup qualification hopes alive.
This break will help those at Thorp Arch, though, with Noah Okafor, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Willy Gnonto all needing to return to 100 per cent match fitness ahead of this run.
With three of the four horror games at Elland Road, Farke will be desperate to translate that into some massive wins, not only for Leeds but for him too.
