Gabby Agbonlahor predicts Leeds United v Brentford Premier League clash
Gabby Agbonlahor has predicted Leeds United to suffer another Premier League defeat when they face Brentford on 22 January.
While acknowledging that the Georginio Rutter signing will make the Whites strong, he believes that Ivan Toney will cause the Whites major problems.
Leeds can end up in 17th place with a loss if Wolves pick up anything from their clash against Manchester City.
Agbonlahor told talkSPORT, “Leeds, Leeds, Leeds, Leeds. New striker come in for £40million. Toney’s a problem, Brentford’s a problem, they are playing such good football. I think they will pick Leeds off. I’m going 3-1 Brentford.”
Agbonlahor has the cheek to say that Brentford play good football despite them being one of the most defensive sides in the league.
Not taking anything away from them as they’ve been performing beyond expectations since their promotion to the top flight.
Leeds clearly have more game changers on their side than Brentford and Agbonlahor just wants to continue his anti-Leeds commentary on talkSPORT.
We’re hoping that Jesse Marsch and the players can silence him with a good performance and the three points on Sunday.
This contest has the makings for a thrilling encounter between two sides who are keen to establish themselves as Premier League mainstays.
Hopefully, the Whites pick up the three points and steer clear of the relegation zone as it is a very serious threat currently.
