Future of Leeds United ace Luis Sinisterra changes in recent weeks amid AC Milan transfer links

The future of Leeds United attacker Luis Sinisterra appears to have changed in recent weeks amid AC Milan interest, according to AS.

The Colombian outlet [17 July] claims that while Leeds were open to selling him post relegation, the situation is different, as things stand.

It has been mentioned that he could stay put at Elland Road and be a “key man” for the 2023/24 season as they aim to regain promotion.

Good news

The Colombian is a big-money signing at Leeds and the club hierarchy would not want him to abandon ship after just one season.

He wasn’t a household name before joining the Whites so it’s evident that thorough scouting was done before securing his services.

He was unfortunate with injuries last season and if he manages to stay fit, he could take the Championship by storm and rack up impressive numbers for goals and assists.

It remains to be seen if they manage to retain his services particularly if Milan are persistent and try initiating talks with the Colombian’s representatives.

However, if Daniel Farke’s had positive conversations with him and he’s fully bought into the project, then Leeds fans have nothing to worry about.

When fit, he’s arguably their best wide player and is expected to start most games for the Whites next season.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites have now reached a personal agreement to secure a multi-million signing this summer.
