Fiorentina technical director spotted watching Leeds United ace Tyler Adams at World Cup game

Fiorentina technical director Nicolas Burdisso was seen at a World Cup games which led to suggestions of him potentially scouting Leeds United ace Tyler Adams.

According to Firenzeviola.it, he made two unscheduled trips apart from watching Argentina games, which included the USA v Iran clash.

Yunnus Musah and Enner Valencia have been mooted as two other players he could be potentially looking at during the tournament along with Adams ahead of the January transfer window.

Surely not happening

Fiorentina aren’t a Champions League side and do not have the funds available to pay Leeds for Adams.

After the domestic campaign and the World Cup he’s had, if the Whites were to sell him in the summer, they would demand twice of what they paid to sign him.

He joined with relatively nobody aware of just how good he was but after what he’s done in Qatar, the world has started to take note of his quality.

He appears to be getting better with each game and his leadership qualities at 23 show just how mature he is not only as a player but also as an individual.

We’d be surprised if Leeds field no calls for him over the next seven to eight months but his leaving after just one year is highly unlikely.

Adams is happy with Jesse Marsch and if Leeds avoid relegation, he surely will have no reason to leave in the summer.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites are now scouting an attacker at the World Cup and a January move appears to be on the cards for them.
