Leeds United will not be suffering a major financial impact amid the recent supply chain issues.
According to Dr Dan Plumley, the Whites will certainly be affected but it’s not going to be a monetary one.
It will be a PR issue for Leeds as many of their fans would want to buy their new jersey for the upcoming season.
However, the issues with supply chains will not impact Leeds’ deal with Adidas in any way.

“Financially it does not matter too much as the deal is tied up to the agreement rather than on a unit sold basis.
“From a PR perspective, it’s not great. Fans always like to have new kits for the new season.
“While Leeds will not be hurting financially, no club wants even trivial issues like these upsetting their fans.
“The PR side of things is what you’re looking at here more than the finance side of things.”
Currently, Leeds fans cannot buy their kits for the 2022/23 season, via the BBC.
While some sides have made their home or away kit available, the Whites are one of the few clubs who have neither until late August.
