We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...

“Financially it does not matter too much as the deal is tied up to the agreement rather than on a unit sold basis.

“From a PR perspective, it’s not great. Fans always like to have new kits for the new season.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites have submitted a fresh bid to sign their first-choice target this summer as a Champions League club has pulled out of the deal.
