Up in the air
It’s fair to say there’s a lot of uncertainty at the moment. Leeds need to find themselves a new owner, sporting director and manager whilst trying to plan for an immediate return to the Premier League. It’s a daunting task for the Elland Road board.
Andrea Radrizzani looks likely to relinquish power within the next couple of weeks. Rumours of talks with the 49ers have emerged in recent weeks and the sooner the takeover happens the better. For far too long, the fanbase has been left in the dark.

A clear plan will be required in the Championship. The second tier is shaping up to be one of the most hotly contested in recent years. Leeds, Leicester, Southampton, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Coventry, West Brom and Watford will all fancy their chances of challenging near the top of the table.
The majority of those teams all have solid footballing structures in place. The same cannot be said for Leeds. Let’s hope there is some movement on the takeover front in the coming weeks.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that an international player at Elland Road has no place at the club next season and a summer transfer is on the cards.
