Final part of Leeds United 49ers takeover emerges as Andrea Radrizzani exit nears
Leeds United could be sold before the weekend if the final part of the deal with the 49ers goes smoothly, according to The Telegraph.
The Daily Mail reported on Tuesday 6 June that an agreement is now close as Andrea Radrizzani looks to end his six-year stay at Elland Road.
The Telegraph now claim that a full takeover will be completed by the weekend if the “final part” of the deal between the two parties passes without a hiccup.

It’s believed a “breakthrough” was made earlier this week after extensive talks.
New era
This does feel like a new era for the club. It’s been hanging over Elland Road for far too long. Radrizzani’s recent antics have left a lot to be desired. His departure is required and the sooner this deal is announced the better. The fanbase won’t accept anything less than promotion.
A new manager has to be hired as soon as possible. A sporting director needs to be put in place and the squad needs rejuvenation. There’s a fair bit for the new owners to be getting on with. This is all against the backdrop of an expected fanbase.

It’s an extremely tough scenario for the 49ers to come into. The Championship is shaping up to be back to its best next season, with there being eight or nine teams who fancy their chances of reaching to the top flight.
The longer Leeds allow this takeover to rumble on, the less chance they will have of promotion next season. An announcement this weekend would be ideal.
