Feyenoord sale record to be smashed as Leeds United board in talks for Luis Sinisterra transfer - report

The Leeds United board are locked in extensive talks to seal the monster new signing of Feyenoord winger Luis Sinisterra, according to De Telegraaf.

The Dutch newspaper has reported on their website that the Whites will smash the sale record of the Eredivisie club to bring the Colombian to Elland Road this summer.

It is shared that any deal is likely to cost around £25.8million as Sinisterra prepares to move to the Premier League as a replacement for the outgoing Raphinha.

Everton are also said to be in the race, but that doesn’t look to be affecting things.

The Toffees and Frank Lampard are also looking to replace their main man in the shape of Richarlison, but they will have to continue searching with Leeds fronting this race.

Fabrizio Romano has shared that personal terms are already agreed between Leeds and Sinisterra, meaning this one could move very quickly if a fee is ironed out soon.

Andrea Radrizzani and the Elland Road board are looking to move quickly with their business with the pre-season trip to Australia at the end of this week.

Record shattering.

Radrizzani looks to have taken matters into his own hands with big money on the line here.

Victor Orta will of course be included in negotiations given that he has been flying around Europe for weeks now looking to get deals set up before the Premier League gets underway.

There has also been a real focus on getting transfers over the line before the squad jets off to Australia, and it may not just be Sinisterra who is on the verge of arriving in West Yorkshire.

RB Leipzig star Tyler Adams is another who looks set to join, and he will be the replacement for Kalvin Phillips, with his move to Manchester City confirmed on Monday [04 July].

With these moves potentially over the line, that leaves Leeds will every penny collected from the expected sale of Raphinha to spend on a new striker.

Could Charles De Ketelaere follow the expected arrivals of Adams and Sinisterra to make it a perfect few weeks in terms of incomings? Don’t rule it out.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites now want to sign this striker with a rival set to kickstart a major £30million+ transfer battle
