Leeds United fans will be absolutely delighted to see that Robbie Gotts is going from strength to strength on loan at Lincoln.
He had to spend the first five games on the bench as Lincoln enjoyed a fast start to the season but he got his chance and he’s quickly proving undroppable at the club.
He was voted man of the match at the weekend and put in another brilliant performance in Lincoln’s midweek game against Wigan.
The 2-1 win takes them to second in the league and Gotts wowed Lincoln fans as he delivered an 8/10 performance. [Lincolnshire Live].
Lincolnshire Live said of his display, “Justified his selection ahead of regular right-back TJ Eyoma with another excellent display.”
His versatility is proving a massive boon for him at the League One club. He’s playing at right-back in the league but has played in his preferred midfield position in the two FA Cup games.
One Lincoln fan said, “He is getting better and better and better, while another simply said, “Superb”.
We think that Gotts is too good for League One and we’re delighted that he’s found his feet and showing what he can do.
That’s so important if he wants to kick on and prove to Bielsa that he’s deserving of a new deal at Leeds.
