Fabrizio Romano shares transfer update with Leeds United ace Tyler Adams keen on Bournemouth
Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams is reportedly keen on moving to Bournemouth this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The journalist reported on Monday (14 August) that the Cherries have triggered his release clause after his failed move to Chelsea.
The 24-year-old United States international is understood to be keen on leaving Elland Road this summer.
Via Twitter, Romano wrote, “Bournemouth have followed Chelsea in triggering Tyler Adams’ release clause for £20m.
“Club now optimistic to get deal done as player is keen on the move at this stage. Chelsea left negotiations for Adams as they wanted to sign Caicedo and Lavia.”
Can do better
Adams was closing in on a move to Chelsea and even has Liverpool linked with his services so there’s certainly something about him.
Bournemouth may be a Premier League club but they’ll be among the candidates for relegation.
It’s not difficult to fathom that 12 months later he could be back in the Championship and then again looking for a move away from the club.

If Adams sticks on for another season and fails to get the club promoted and then leaves, fans will understand it and hold him in extremely high regard.
However, if he leaves for Bournemouth, it’ll be kind of anticlimactic as they know just how good he can get in the coming years and perhaps even reach the top.
In other Leeds United news, the club could look to rekindle their interest in a Golden Boot winner who Daniel Farke will love and it will take £15million to get the deal done.
