Leeds United have reportedly secured the services of Luis Sinisterra from Feyenoord with only his documents pending ahead of an official announcement.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 23-year-old has already agreed personal terms and will be joining for a fee in the region of £21.5million plus add-ons.
The Tyler Adams signing will also be official soon, ensuring that Leeds will complete their fifth and sixth signings of the summer.
Via Twitter, Romano wrote, “Luis Sinisterra to Leeds, here we go. Deal confirmed, documents pending and then it will be announced. Feyenoord will receive €25m with add-ons, while Sinisterra has already agreed personal terms.
“Tyler Adams will be official soon. Deal already done, £20m total fee.”
Leeds have gone about their business in a clever and efficient way and we cannot be happier with the way the incomings have been handled.
Surely, losing Kalvin Phillips and potentially Raphinha will be hard on the club, but they have to accept the situation they are in.
Rather than keeping two unhappy players, they decided in the best interests of everyone to cash in on them, and their replacements already are on their way to Elland Road.
The timing of these deals is essential as it’s right before the squad flies out to Australia for their pre-season tour.
Both Adams and Sinisterra are expected to be nailed on starters next season and it’s important that they get used to playing with their teammates.
The American will know a few things about what Jesse Marsch demands from him, but for the Colombian, it’s going to take some time to adapt.
