Fabrizio Romano: Personal terms agreed for Rasmus Kristensen Leeds United exit
Rasmus Kristensen has agreed personal terms with Roma as the 25-year-old closes in on his Leeds United exit, according to Fabrizio Romano.
It’s believed the Serie A club have made the Dane and Diego Llorente their “top targets” for the summer window.
Romano has claimed the deal is now at an advanced stage and that personal terms have now been agreed.
“AS Roma have agreed personal terms with Rasmus Kristensen as the deal is advancing with Leeds United,” wrote Romano (via Twitter, 25 June).
“Roma want both Kristensen and Diego Llorente as top targets this summer.”
What a waste
What a waste of time Kristensen’s spell at Elland Road was.
The right-back came with such a big reputation but looked completely lost at times in the Premier League. Who knows, in the Championship he could have thrived but it’s not a risk the board want to take.
If he moves to Roma it’s a fresh start for everyone involved.
One player who will be delighted to hear this news is Cody Drameh. The youngster has been linked with a move away from Elland Road but could now be given more chances to shine in a White shirt.

He was exceptional during the 2022/23 season for Luton Town and is fully deserving of being given a proper go at Elland Road.
Unfortunately, Luke Ayling cannot be relied upon throughout the whole season. If Leeds are serious about gaining promotion back to the Premier League they have to either recruit another right-back or give Drameh a proper chance when the season commences in August.
