Fabrizio Romano: Leeds United set to have £8.5m bid accepted for Rasmus Kristensen
Leeds United will reportedly have an £8.5million bid accepted for RB Salzburg right-back Rasmus Kristensen to seal their second signing.
According to Sky Sports Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano, the agreement is now very close as Jesse Marsch is keen on reuniting with him.
He is one step away from joining as Leeds are set to have their bid on Tuesday finally approved and the move can then be over the line.
Via his personal Twitter account, Romano wrote, “Rasmus Kristensen, one step away from joining Leeds. The agreement with RB Salzburg is now close as Jesse Marsch wants him as new righ back.
“Tuesday’s opening bid around €10m now set to be accepted”
Quick moves
It’s only the start of June and Leeds look like they have made their second signing of the summer.
Brenden Aaronson was a long-term target so getting his deal over the line did not particularly take too long.
However, in terms of Kristensen, things have progressed quickly and he could be a Leeds player very soon.

The Denmark international plays at right-back and will compete with Luke Ayling for places.
Given Ayling’s performances in 2021/22, there’s a good chance that he becomes the second choice to the 24-year-old.
Kristensen may not have played in the Premier League before but understands Marsch’s system to the T and will know what he demands on and off the ball.
Under the American, players appeared clueless on occasion, but in Aaronson and now Kristensen, he will have two players who know what he wants.
In Leeds United news, an under-the-radar court case involving the transfer of a Leeds player has reached its conclusion with the final payout revealed.
