Fabrizio Romano: Brenden Aaronson agrees personal terms for major Leeds United transfer, final paperwork sorted soon
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Leeds United have already agreed personal terms with RB Salzburg attacking midfielder Brenden Aaronson.
The transfer guru shared the major news after the Whites secured their Premier League status with a huge win over Brentford on Sunday evening [22 May].
Leeds will now prepare the final paperwork to get a deal done, and as Romano’s famous words, the “Here we go” will come soon at Elland Road for their first major signing of the summer.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Romano shared the major news that the deal was all but done with the American wanting that dream Premier League move.
“Leeds are closing on Brenden Aaronson deal, here we go soon,” he wrote.
“Full agreement reached with RB Salzburg and paperworks to be prepared soon, deal worth £28m as reported yesterday.
“Aaronson has already agreed personal terms with Leeds as he wanted Premier League move.”
Here We Go.
This is exactly the start to the summer we needed.
It was important to celebrate yesterday, but the board now need to get to work to make sure that we are not in this position again in the Premier League moving forward.
Andrea Radrizzani and Victor Orta have a busy summer ahead of reinforcing this squad, and starting with this signing of Aaronson is the perfect beginning, so hats off to them.
A new striker, depth at full-back and another central midfielder must follow this signing.
Getting this announcement done as well as potential new contracts for Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips would be a huge few weeks at Elland Road, and the mood would go through the roof if it happened.
A big-money arrival is the perfect dessert after the win over Brentford, and we already can’t wait for the announcement of this as well as more signings to come.
