Exit-linked Leeds United ace Crysencio Summerville shares what he’s told agent to do amid speculation
Exit-linked Leeds United attacker Crysencio Summerville has told his agent not to tell him about any interest in his services until after the European Under-21 Championship.
The 21-year-old Whites ace is currently playing in the tournament for the Netherlands, starting their goalless draw with Belgium on Wednesday (21 June).
But in terms of his club career, multiple clubs are interested in his signature this summer, according to The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath (20 June).

“I see and read some things here and there, but I focus on this tournament,” Summerville told NOS.
“I also deliberately asked my agent not to give me that information until after the European Championship. We can win a prize, we will see the rest later.”

Smart decision
Summerville may be young, but his decision to focus on the Euros is a smart one, and shows that he has maturity despite being just 21 years old.
He now has a big decision to make regarding his future, with the winger seemingly having a choice of a handful of clubs across Europe if he does indeed intend to leave Elland Road this summer.
There will be plenty of Whites exits in the coming months following the club’s relegation to the Championship, with many senior players not wanting to ply their trade in England’s second division.
Summerville proved his abilities with four goals and two assists in the Premier League last season, with his displays now attracting interest from other clubs.
But if the youngster does stay at Elland Road, he would no doubt play a central role in his side’s fight for an immediate return to the top flight.
In other Leeds United news, one big-name manager is now in pole position to fill the vacant dugout at Elland Road.
