Ewan Sharp leaves Leeds United as Javi Gracia team now confirmed at Elland Road
Ewan Sharp has left the club after the appointment of Javi Gracia at Leeds United, despite sticking around after Jesse Marsch was sacked, according to Training Ground Guru.
The online source has reported the news on their website with the Spaniard wasting no time in cracking down his own style and team behind the scenes in West Yorkshire.
But despite initially staying put at Elland Road while a handful of Marsch’s other assistants departed the club, Sharp has now followed the American out of the door after just six months in the role.

Is this risky by Gracia?
Having only been instated as Leeds manager on Tuesday 21 February, Gracia has acted quickly to mould his backroom staff how he pleases.
But are bold calls like this the wisest thing to do for a new manager? History says the former Valencia gaffer is playing a risky game. Fellow relegation strugglers Everton appointed Rafa Benítez in the summer of 2021, and within a few months, he had moved on popular director of medical services Dan Donachie with little public reason.

The move caused fallout among fans as the Toffees’ injury woes piled up, before Benitez was unceremoniously sacked just two months later.
Given the fact the club chose to move on a number of Marsch’s staff but keep Sharp and fellow assistant Chris Armas (the latter will stay with the Whites) suggests that Gracia has his own vision on how to change United’s fortunes which, perhaps, doesn’t align with the club.
In other Leeds United news, the club are now leading the race to sign an in-demand young attacking talent from a European giant.
