Every word Tyler Adams said about Leeds United ahead of Bournemouth clash
Tyler Adams has reflected on his time at Leeds United ahead of their clash with Bournemouth.
Leeds United host Bournemouth on Saturday, looking to become the first promoted team since 2015 to keep a clean sheet in their first three home encounters.
Off the back of Leeds’ 3-1 win against Wolves, the Whites have plenty of momentum behind them, though the same can be said for the visitors, who have lost just once so far this season.
Adams is likely to be named in the Cherries’ starting 11 on Saturday, and ahead of his return to Elland Road, the USMNT international has reflected on his time with Leeds.

Leeds United praised by Tyler Adams ahead of reunion
Adams failed to impress for the large part when he was at Leeds, especially when taking into account the hype that was behind him after a move from RB Leipzig.
The American international spent just one year at Elland Road before joining the Cherries, where Adams would later go on to spark controversy with his words on Leeds.
From then on, Whites supporters have not been particularly fond of the 26-year-old, though his latest comments on his time at Elland Road are surprisingly positive.
Via the Bournemouth website ahead of the clash, he said: “The environment there was one of the best, if not the best, I’ve played in.
- July 2022 – Leeds sign Adams for £20million from Leipzig
- 28 appearances in all competitions for the Whites in 22/23 season
- August 2023 – Bournemouth sign Adams for £20million+ from Leeds
“The fans were incredible. I built so many good relationships, and I’m thankful for my time there. There were ups and downs, for sure.
“Sometimes I think, if I’d been able to play more, would the circumstances have been different for the team? But that’s football. I still have great memories and friendships from my time there.
“You always know that if you go to Elland Road, it’s going to be a difficult game – no matter what the circumstances are.”

Leeds can cause an upset vs Bournemouth
Leeds are the underdogs for their clash with Bournemouth, just as they were against Everton and Wolves.
Often, that label will play into their hands, epseically in front of the Elland Road crowd, who have already showcased their ability to play a big part in the success that the Whites can find this season.
Players like Anton Stach and Noah Okafor if fit, will be the dangermen for Leeds, while Daniel Farke will need to ensure that his defensive shape is far stronger than it was in the opening stages of the clash with Wolves.
Leeds could make their own history on Saturday, in what promises to be an exciting spectacle.
