Everton to sign Rodrigo tipped by Sky Sports pundit as ‘decent’ Leeds United fee mooted
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…
Paul Robinson believes Rodrigo will be “highly sought-after” and feels Everton would be a good fit for the Leeds United striker.
The Spaniard is one of the Whites’ highest earners, with the 32-year-old reportedly earning £100,000-a-week at Elland Road (The Times).
According to Tuttomercatoweb on 24 June, the Whites are in “advanced talks” with the Toffees over the transfer of the striker.

Robinson has since reacted to the news and believes Rodrigo would be a good signing for Sean Dyche as he looks to add forward-thinking reinforcements at Goodison Park.
“Rodrigo will be highly sought after. I saw that Everton are after him as well and he would be a good fit there. They are the two you would be looking to get a decent fee for,” Robinson exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
The 32-year-old was Leeds’ top goalscorer during the 2022/23 season, netting 13 times in the Premier League. Considering his good form and wages, it would not be a surprise to see the forward move on during the summer transfer window.

Willy Gnonto, Jack Harrison and Crysencio Summerville have also been linked with moves to Goodison Park in recent weeks.
Everton themselves are yet to kickstart their summer business with outgoings required to raise funds for Dyche and Kevin Thelwell.
In other Leeds United news, the club are set to react to an impending Elland Road exodus with “ambitious” incoming transfer plans.
