Everton frustrations emerge in transfer pursuit of Leeds United ace Wilfried Gnonto
Everton are exploring a deal for Southampton ace Kamaldeen Sulemana amid frustrations in the pursuit of Leeds United attacker Willy Gnonto, according to the Daily Mail.
The English newspaper reports in its print edition on 2 August (page 2) that a deal is being explored for the Saints forward as an alternative to the 19-year-old.
New Toffees manager Sean Dyche is keen on signing another attacker and appears keen on bringing the Italy international.

Keep him
Everton taking so long to get a deal done may not be just down their inefficiencies but also that Gnonto may not fancy them that much.
Sure, he would want to play in the Premier League, but given how Toffees’ summer is transpiring, he would not want to be coming back down next summer.
If he does leave Elland Road, it’s most likely going to be for an established top flight team either in England or overseas.

As of now, there seems to be no indication of him downing tools which is a good thing for Daniel Farke.
Talks will certainly be going on behind the scenes but he surely will be getting ready to begin the season with the Whites in the Championship.
He could light up the second tier on fire and there’s a good chance he may give it another 12 months at Elland Road.
In other Leeds United news, an update has emerged on the club’s pursuit to sign two centre-backs this summer with a winger now on the radar as well.
