Everton eye Jack Harrison as Leeds United exit path clears
CBS Journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that Everton are keeping tabs on Leeds United winger Jack Harrison.
90min shared on 25 May that the Toffees were in hot pursuit of the 26-year-old winger, who could be set to depart Elland Road following Leeds’ relegation.
Talking to Leeds United Ultras YouTube channel, Jacobs has revealed there could be a relatively clear path when it comes to Harrison’s next move.

“There may not be as many queuing up for Harrison as you might think,” Jacobs told Leeds United Ultras YouTube channel (26m 54s, 15 June).
“I would keep an eye on Everton and West Ham United.”
Shame
Of course, Leeds fans would be extremely disappointed to see Harrison depart – particularly after he signed a new deal only a matter of months ago.
However, he’s a player who needs to be playing at the top level. Considering his age and the contribution he provided last season, it’s unfair to expect him to remain for a Championship promotion push.
One positive is that Leeds find themselves in a strong position when it comes to Harrison’s contract. The new deal he signed means they can demand a fairly significant fee. Another scenario is that a relegation clause was implemented into his contract.

With a new manager set to be appointed in the next week, the 26-year-old’s future will be on the first dilemmas to deal with.
It’s imperative that a new boss is landed in the coming days. The longer the delay, the harder it will be heading into what promises to be a daunting Championship renewal.
