Emma Jones hits back as Robbie Savage claims Leeds fans should be worried
Robbie Savage has insisted Leeds United fans should be worried after their side’s winless run in the new Premier League season.
The Elland Road outfit have drawn thrice and lost two of their opening five games of the season ahead of Saturday’s clash against West Ham United.
Marcelo Bielsa is without some of his key players for the game due to an injury crisis, and while Savage reckons their unimpressive start to 2021-22 calls for concern, Leeds Utd TV presenter Emma Jones does not agree.
Both were speaking on William Hill’s Three of the Best on Twitter ahead of weekend’s league games, and Jones hit back following the pundit’s claim.
She posted on her personal Twitter account: “Leeds United I think have to be worried.”

Too early to be worried?
The last time the Whites went without a victory in their opening five games of a season was in 1958, and picking up just three points from a possible 15 is the club’s worst start to a league campaign since 1985-86.
Nevertheless, not a lot of Leeds fans would be worried even if they fail to get something against the Hammers.
They are currently 17th in the table heading into matchday six, and could find themselves in the relegation zone depending on how other results go.
If that happens, it is definitely not an enviable place to be for a club that blew everyone away last term and finished in ninth position after returning to the top-flight for the first time since 2004.
The injuries have come at a bad time, but there is no denying that they have had some tough run of games so far, and the points and wins will surely start coming in soon.
