Emma Jones hails Adam Forshaw after Leeds clash v Fleetwood
Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw has finally returned from his injury hell this week as pre-season began.
The senior Elland Road star has been missing for almost two years and has teased his return previously before picking up other injuries.
Finally, the moment came last night for Forshaw to string together two appearances in the space of one week.
Leeds travelled to Fleetwood, with their under-23s being used at Highbury in the 2-1 defeat, a game in which Forshaw actually started.
After the game, the midfielder took to his official Instagram account to celebrate the appearance, and plenty were buzzing with the development.
Emma Jones was one of those to join the squad in praising the forgotten man, hailing his return in the comments.
This could be like yet another new signing for the Whites.
Forshaw has been missing for that long, he didn’t feature once during our return to the Premier League last season.
Marcelo Bielsa is a huge fan of the midfielder and has made that no secret, something which could save us millions in the transfer market.
Those in attendance noticed how Forshaw was throwing himself into challenges, something a player who isn’t 100% wouldn’t do, and a big sign he could be back to his best.
With another three games left in pre-season, hopefully, we can see more of Forshaw, something which could lead to him being named on the bench at Old Trafford in two weeks.
This is something that deserves to be praised, and everyone needs to jump on the Forshaw bandwagon, hopefully, he’s back for good.
