Emile Heskey in awe of Raphinha, wants Leeds star to join Liverpool
Emile Heskey is a big fan of Raphinha and would take the Leeds United star at Liverpool.
Raphinha has caught the attention of Liverpool and Manchester United with his six goals and six assists, according to journalist Gianluigi Longari.
He has helped the Whites into the Premier League top ten in his debut season in England and Heskey has applauded the contribution he has made.
Heskey, who occasionally works as a pundit for Sky Sports, told Rousing the Kop, “Yeah [I would take him]. The top four would all be looking for someone like him. He’s got that ability, he’s still a young lad.
“To come and do what he’s doing now, it’s phenomenal. Everyone a player with pace and everyone wants a player who can be direct and who knows how to dribble.”

Raphinha has been outstanding this season and fully deserves all the plaudits coming his way, but he is not for sale.
There is a clear project in place at Leeds and this summer we will be looking to strengthen the squad, not sell our best players.
Fortunately, the Brazilian looks settled in West Yorkshire and recently revealed he is “really happy” with life at Elland Road [Sky Sports].
For good reason, too, as he is playing arguably the best football of his career and grabbing headlines for all the right reasons.
He is enjoying his role at being our chief attacking playmaker and is clearly benefiting from the wisdom of Marcelo Bielsa.
If he maintains his superb performances from this campaign into the next he could soon win his first Brazil cap.
That would provide more evidence that he is flourishing with the Whites and even if the top-six come calling he may be keen on staying put.
