Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher drops hint another new Leeds signing is on the way as negotiations held

Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher’s arrival from Manchester United was a real coup for the academy, and the work to bring in more talent is not stopping.

The Elland Road outfit are making steps to ensure the future of the club is secured. Continuing to produce Premier League quality talents is vital to success in England.

Archie Gray is the most recent example of the success that Thorp Arch has had over the years. However, pushing through young stars has long been part of the Peacocks’ identity.

James Milner, who has now equalled the Premier League appearance record, came through Leeds’ academy in 2002.

It is an example the youth currently at LS11 will be aiming to emulate.

Now, another potential academy success could be seen in the near future with Ibrovic-Fletcher dropping a hint over Leeds’ transfer business.

Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher reacts to Kasen Brown transfer news

Leeds are looking to bolster their academy ranks, and talks between Leeds and Manchester City for wonderkid Kasen Brown have taken place. The left-back is set to leave Man City in the summer.

Right now, there is plenty of stiff competition for the young defender, and it appears some of the youth squad are keeping tabs on their potential future teammates.

A post from The Talent Hunter on Instagram, which issues the details of the negotiations for Brown, has caught Ibrovic-Fletcher’s attention.

The young attacking midfielder has liked the post that states Leeds are one of four clubs that have talked with Brown.

Ibrovic-Fletcher himself is only a recent arrival, with the former Manchester United graduate joining at the beginning of February.

If the Lilywhites can secure the signing of Brown, it would be the second time in a few months they have taken a top talent from Manchester.

How has Ibrovic-Fletcher settled in to life at Leeds?

It seems it did not take long for the former Red Devils academy prospect to fit right in at LS11. However, that was always likely, due to him being a Leeds-born player.

In Leeds under-18s’ 3-2 win over Derby County, the 17-year-old was on target in his debut game, kicking off his career at Thorp Arch in the best possible way.

The Serbian youth international struck the first goal of the game just 16 minutes into the action, and he will be delighted with his start to life.

Players such as Brown could look at how quickly Ibrovic-Fletcher has settled. This could give Leeds another boost in their hunt for the young talent.

The future is looking bright for the Yorkshire club.
