Eddie Nketiah shares Instagram compilation with Leeds goals, three ER stars responds

Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah has shared a compilation of this season, including a number of his goals that he scored at Leeds United.

Nketiah formed a great bond with the Leeds fans during his time on loan at the beginning of the season, and it led to them urging Marcelo Bielsa to start him over Patrick Bamford.

That didn’t happen at the time, and Leeds paid the price. The England youth international was recalled by the Gunners and has since picked up minutes in the Premier League under Mikel Arteta.

Nketiah left after starting back-to-back games against Birmingham and West Brom, although he was always much-more effective off the bench.

The youngster shared the compilation on his personal Instagram account, and it included his goals against the likes of Brentford, Salford and Preston.

He obviously made many close bonds at Elland Road from his time in West Yorkshire, with Tyler Roberts, Barry Douglas and Ben White all sending messages of support to the 20-year-old.

Nketiah has since been replaced by Jean-Kevin Augustin and the odd appearance up top from Tyler Roberts, and there haven’t been many complaints at that.

Augustin has come in with great reputation from RB Leipzig having played in some of Europe’s top leagues as well as the Champions League.

There is no doubting that Nketiah’s goals were valuable at the time, with his strikes handing Leeds an extra four points in the Championship.
