Eddie Gray tells Simon Jordan about Leeds United failures in transfer window
Eddie Gray has told Simon Jordan that Andrea Radrizzani admitted to him that Marcelo Bielsa didn’t want to sign any players for Leeds United back in January.
Many fans at Elland Road point blame at the board for their failures in the windows this season, with no real investment made despite our huge injury worries.
Gray shared live in the talkSPORT studio that Radrizzani and Angus Kinnear had told him what happened in the transfer windows with El Loco throughout.

Speaking live on talkSPORT on Monday morning [23 May, 11:12 am], Gray told the studio what he had heard about the transfer failures at Elland Road.
“I know Marcelo didn’t want to sign any players,” he said.
“I know that from the owner and the chief exec because they wanted to sign players.”
Jordan did snap back at that and insisted that you shouldn’t always believe what you are told.
“You know that owners and chief execs don’t always tell you exactly what you need to know.”

Relief.
It is all well and good sharing this information once Bielsa had left, but no one was complaining or saying anything about this while he was still at the club.
This all has a scapegoat feel about it, and Radrizzani, as well as Kinnear and Victor Orta, should keep quiet with who they’re talking to and just make sure this doesn’t happen again.
Surviving on the last day sparked incredible scenes, but also a reminder that we cannot be in this position again and we need to spend big money on this squad to transform it.
Bielsa got us into this position, and Jesse Marsch has already nearly joined him with legend status at Elland Road after keeping us in the Premier League, but now it is time to kick on.
We hope El Loco saw the news on Sunday [22 May] and had a drink from us all with a big smile, knowing that Leeds are still in the Premier League – forget that transfer nonsense and make sure we invest this summer.
