Ebanie Bridges says Raphinha is 'injured' after visit to Elland Road
Leeds United-supporting boxer Ebanie Bridges visited Elland Road on Thursday and has taken to Twitter to explain why she couldn’t meet players.
Australian Bridges, who’s known as the Blonde Bomber, is currently in the UK after losing the WBA female bantamweight title bout to Shannon Courtenay in London.
She’s well known among Leeds fans for supporting the Yorkshire club and took to Twitter on Thursday to show that she’d been allowed access into Elland Road.

Someone then asked Bridges why she didn’t see Raphinha.
The Blonde Bomber explained that Raphinha is still “injured” and added: “It’s hard for the players to get out and about really because of COVID. Can’t really be mingling.”

Leeds play Manchester United on Sunday and we’re praying that Raphinha is available.
Raphinha was nowhere to be seen on Monday when the Whites drew 1-1 against Liverpool at Elland Road due to injury.
It remains to be seen whether he’ll be back on Sunday but Bridges doesn’t sound as though she thinks he will be.
Bridges has been gaining a lot of attention from Leeds fans on Twitter who are claiming that she’s not a genuine supporter and shouldn’t have been allowed into Elland Road.
She’s Australian and we shouldn’t have to remind fans about the links Leeds have to her country.
Why does it matter who’s allowed into Elland Road and who’s not? People are up in arms about this on Twitter but why does it actually matter?
Think about that before you tweet.
In other Leeds United news, a pundit claims Leeds fans would be “devastated” if this speculation turns out to be true.
