Early Leeds United team news vs Bournemouth: Lucas Perri out as two could return

Leeds return to Elland Road on Saturday to take on Bournemouth, following their first away win of the Premier League season.

Leeds defeated Wolves 3-1 at Molineux last time out to grab their first win since the opening day of the Premier League.

Anton Stach scored a delightful free-kick in the pick of the goals, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor also netting for the first time in white.

Leeds will face Bournemouth on Saturday as they look to maintain their unbeaten home start to the Premier League season.

Daniel Farke has some decisions ahead of him regarding the starting team and has been given an update on some of the injuries in his squad.

Leeds’ star duo have 50/50 chance to feature against Bournemouth

Leeds are underdogs against Bournemouth even though they are at home, so they will need their full squad to be fit and available.

According to injury expert Ben Dinnery, goalkeeper Lucas Perri remains sidelined with a thigh injury and won’t be back until at least October.

There was some positive news, however, as Willy Gnonto and Dan James are both suggested to be 50/50 to be available for the weekend.

Gnonto is currently nursing a calf injury, while James has a chest problem, but a return to the squad for either would be a huge boost for Farke.

Willy Gnonto and Dan James would be a huge boost for Leeds

Leeds are looking to maintain their unbeaten home record against Bournemouth at the weekend, and having Gnonto and James available would be massive.

The Cherries are a tricky opposition, and even having one of the forwards in the squad could cause them all sorts of problems.

Both Gnonto and James offer something different in attack with their dribbling ability and pace, and are real assets for Leeds.

While both players have missed the last few games, fans at Elland Road are eager to see them back, and Saturday could be the time.
