Don Goodman insists Leeds fans hate him during live Sky Sports coverage

Don Goodman has insisted that Leeds United fans hate him during live Sky Sports coverage of the Premier League on Super Sunday.

Arsenal travelled to Newcastle and took away all three points from St James’ Park, but it appeared as though the commentators had their minds elsewhere.

Goodman couldn’t help but bring the attention to himself, despite the fact that the Whites had nothing to do with the game going on.

Multiple Leeds fans heard Goodman make the bizarre revelation during the live coverage of Newcastle’s defeat, and safe to say it made their afternoons.

“Leeds United fans hate me,” he said.

Not famous?

We’re not famous anymore, the long-standing chant that may have to be scrapped when we return to Elland Road, how times have changed.

Pundits and opposition fans can’t help but speak about the Whites, and this is another example, this game had nothing to do with us.

We understand that any game involving Newcastle is awful to watch more times than not, so bringing Leeds or Marcelo Bielsa into the conversation instantly makes it more attractive.

Goodman isn’t exactly welcome at Elland Road, due to numerous years upon years of poor commentary and unnecessary attacks when our backs were against the wall.

It appears convenient that now the Whites are back in the big time and one of the most talked-about clubs around the world, not just England, that Goodman speaks out and drops his own name.
