Don Goodman drops ‘unplayable’ verdict on Leeds United front four live on Sky Sports
Don Goodman described the front four of Leeds United as currently “unplayable” ahead of their Championship clash at Sunderland on Tuesday (12 December).
The Whites have won nine of their past 11 league fixtures, losing one and drawing one, to sit third in the table – seven points adrift of second-place Ipswich Town.
Their sensational form is in no short part down to a frightening front line of Joel Piroe, Georginio Rutter, Dan James, and Crysencio Summerville, who have 28 league goals between them this season.

Speaking on Sky Sports News on Tuesday (10:37, 12 December), Goodman said: “Their front four is absolutely on fire they almost look unplayable these four players at the front end for Leeds.
“How do you contain these four forwards you know? Piroe, Rutter, Dan James, and Summerville there, absolutely incredible really.”

Frightening
After all the nonsense of last season and the drama of the close season, it is genuinely impressive how quickly Leeds have got themselves back on the right trajectory and Daniel Farke obviously deserves a huge amount of credit for that.
But even with a good manager you need the players to execute and corr blimey do Leeds have the players to execute right now. Some of the football they have played over the past few months has been sensational and evoked memories of glory days of Marcelo Bielsa.
There is no doubt that key to that is Leeds’ front four, who have struck up an incredible understanding and are absolutely terrorising opposition defences, with Sunderland the latest side who will need to find a way to stop them at the Stadium of Light.
Summerville leads the way in the league with nine goals, ahead of Piroe (8) and James (7), and frankly it is impossible to guess who will finish as the club’s top scorer. Quite frankly, that is a position you want your forwards to be in.
In other Leeds United news, the club should definitely look to sell Leo Hjelde in January.
