'Disgraceful', 'Absolute joke' - Some Leeds fans blast their own club after Bielsa press conference
Leeds United fans are furious with the club after Marcelo Bielsa was asked about the stance on Kiko Casilla after he was banned for racism last week.
Casilla, 33, is set to serve the second of an eight-match ban that was dished out by the FA after it was found that he racially abused former Charlton loanee Jonathan Leko in September.
Since the written reasons have been released to the public, there has been an increase in the number of fans who want to see Casilla sacked by the club for his reprehensible comments.
However Leeds United are yet to issue any kind of statement to show their stance on the issue and Bielsa was left to answer questions about that on Thursday at a pre-match press conference.
As quoted by Phil Hay, when asked about Casilla’s future at Elland Road and any possible disciplinary action, Bielsa said: “I don’t know the club’s position.”
Bielsa is here. Asked first about Casilla, possible disciplinary action and his future: "I don't know the club's position." Asked about Casilla denying knowing the 'n' word: "The people who have to judge Kiko already did it. What we do is accept the authorities' decisions." #lufc

It is a massive shame that Bielsa was left to attend a press conference to deal with these questions.
If there was a statement that had been released prior then he could have used that to help him through what was no doubt a tough press conference for him.
While Bielsa shouldn’t have been put in that position, it is important to remember that 20-year-old Leko is the victim in all of this and the actions of Casilla and the lack of support he had from he FA, PFA and anti-racism charities were appalling.
Leeds fans have had enough of this uncomfortable episode in their club’s history and are not happy with how Bielsa was left to deal with this uncertainty on Thursday.

It's disgraceful the club have said nothing on this. It's easy to enjoy all the recent banter that flows out nicely enough but this wall of silence is shameful. https://t.co/HLdTnWOMwp

Angus Kinnear should be answering questions about the Kiko situation not Bielsa who is team coach!!!

Club seem to have disappeared, our noisy chairman all quiet.should tell Kinnear to issue a statement with our stance so we can all move on

It's an absolute joke the club haven't issued a statement about this before this press conference. Few higher ups at @LUFC hiding away.
