Diego Llorente Leeds United talks in the pipeline with Elland Road change on cards – Sky Sports pundit
Paul Robinson has claimed Diego Llorente could still have a future at Leeds United despite the 29-year-old currently on loan at Roma.
According to Forza Roma (27 April), an exit is on the cards for the Spaniard this summer, but an agreement with the Italian side is not guaranteed. It’s believed Roma are not prepared to pay the £16million which was pre-agreed between the two clubs.
However, Robinson has suggested the managerial uncertainty at Elland Road could well see Llorente make an impact if he does return.

“I don’t think they’ll have a choice if they’re in the Championship,” Robinson exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“The price that Leeds can command for players depends on what league they are in. I think with Llorente out on loan, another thing to consider is the manager.
“It depends on the managerial situation. There could be another one at the end of the season. That opens up another conversation regarding Llorente.
“He’s gone to Roma and done well, does the new manager that comes into Leeds fancy him? Does he value him? He’s just signed a new contract so there’s another conversation to have there.”

Llorente has made eight appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side after making the January switch from West Yorkshire.
The Spaniard only signed a new Leeds United deal in 2022 and is set to remain with the Whites until the summer of 2026.
In other Leeds United news, one source has shared what Big Sam has done at the club, which is something that has been seen for a while.
