'Delete this', 'Absolute joke' - Many Leeds fans blast official tweet after Fulham defeat
We can all agree that Leeds United need to move on after the 2-1 defeat against Fulham on Saturday, and they need to do it quickly.
Yes, it might not be the result the Whites deserved, and referee Tim Robinson didn’t cover himself in glory but all eyes must be fixed firmly on the Boxing Day clash with Preston.
Robinson handed the home side a penalty after slight contact made by Ben White on Bobby Reid. It was ridiculously soft but Leeds did equalise and failed to make that count in the end.
Leeds posted a video of the incident on their official Twitter account on Sunday morning, captioned with the definition of ‘contact sport’, something which didn’t get the required effect it was most likely meant to have.
Many Leeds fans reacted to the post, quickly asking their club to delete the video as it made them look like sore losers – claiming that it was important to look at the Preston game rather than continuing to look at the past.
Here are a selection of the tweets…

No, don’t do this. Not worth the hassle.

The gap between Leeds and the play-offs remains nine points, and we have the chance to extend that further when Preston come to Elland Road on Thursday.
This is the game Leeds fans wanted to concentrate on rather than the incident that happened at Craven Cottage.
Not worth the hassle, we just have to get on with it. Same every year

Just forget about it and move on, won’t change anything now

Leeds fans are spot on, we need to keep our minds fully on the second half of the campaign and more importantly the promotion race.
Every single club in the Championship will lose at least once in the next six months, and Leeds must be ready to take advantage of that.
