Deco commission revealed from Raphinha Leeds United exit for Barcelona
Raphinha’s agent Deco reportedly earned £8.65million in commission as the Brazilian left Leeds United in the summer to join Barcelona.
According to Mundo Deportivo [30 November], Raphinha’s signing is causing problems for Barcelona manager Xavi due to his inability to play on the left flank.
The Spanish head coach now has Ousmane Dembele, Ferran Torres as well as the Brazilian to choose from with all three being signed as first-team players.
Good sale?
Leeds are often criticised for buying unimportant players and overpaying for them, but they’ve struck lucky with Raphinha.
Since his move to Barcelona, he has not been the same player and we wonder what all the fuss was in the first place at Camp Nou.

Anyone who’s watched Raphinha knows that he’s only good on the right and if they saw Dembele putting in world class performances, they shouldn’t have signed him.
The Brazilian was suited to the Premier League and would’ve been a good signing for Chelsea or Arsenal who were very keen on buying him.
Leeds made good money and we don’t think anyone at the club will regret the sale as they’ve reinvested the funds pretty well.
Luis Sinisterra, Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams have all been superb signings but there still is the need to get a reliable goal scorer and hopefully, that’s done in the January window.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are now scouting an attacker at the World Cup and a January move appears to be on the cards for them.
