Decision on Leeds United target Charles De Ketelaere future expected today with meeting planned
Leeds United will reportedly be keeping track of the developments as AC Milan and Club Brugge are set to meet today, July 20.
According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport (July 20, Pg2), Milan’s Technical Director Paolo Maldini and Sporting Director Frederic Massara will return in the evening and a decision is likely over the Belgium international’s future as the Serie A giants will not be submitting a higher bid.
Brugge already have an offer on the table from Leeds which is higher than the Italian side’s and is believed to be a club-record bid of £34.1million. [Il Messaggero]

There’s still hope
Brugge will want to make the most from the sale of one of their prized assets and Leeds are currently the team that can hand them that.
Milan, despite being in the Champions League, are falling shy of their valuation and while De Ketelaere may want a move to San Siro, the finances need to be sound in the deal.
It remains to be seen what happens in this meeting later today as a lot is hinging over it.
The report claims that Milan have other alternatives lined up which suggests that they’re prepared to walk away from the deal if they cannot convince Brugge to lower their rate.
This puts the ball firmly in Leeds’ court and we’re expecting them to then try and discuss personal terms with the 21-year-old as the two clubs seem to have agreed on a fee.
Hopefully, the Milan directors are unsuccessful in their efforts and Leeds get their biggest target of the summer.
In other Leeds United news, Jesse Marsch is extremely keen on bringing an ‘Exceptional’ striker to Elland Road this summer and has learnt his transfer valuation.
