David Prutton predicts result of Leeds United showdown v Swansea City for Sky Sports
Leeds United will extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to 10 matches when they face Swansea City on Tuesday (13 February), according to David Prutton.
The Sky Sports presenter believes that Daniel Farke’s side will be able to build off of their impressive win over Rotherham United and return from South Wales with all three points, predicting that the Whites will win 2-1.
Swansea managed to end a five-match winless run with a 1-0 win over Hull City last time out and while that may give them confidence, Prutton expects Leeds to continue “steamrolling” through the division.
Writing in his Sky Sports Championship predictions (12 February) he said: “Swansea plucked that win at Hull City pretty much out of nowhere on Saturday! They were in no kind of form at all, but that just shows what can happen in this league on any given day.
“Can they replicate that performance against Leeds? It is a big ask as Daniel Farke’s side are steamrolling everyone right about now. It could be close down in South Wales, but I can’t back against United at this moment.”
Daniel Farke to keep steamrolling with Leeds United
Leeds United were at their best against Rotherham as their attacking talent combined superbly to help break down the Millers with ease to continue the push for the automatic promotion places.
While Patrick Bamford’s opener was scored in fairly controversial circumstances, Crysencio Summerville scored two wonderful goals, including a cheeky panenka which demonstrated just how confident Farke’s team are at this moment in time.

On the other wing, Wilfried Gnonto and Archie Gray were combining exceptionally to cause havoc and with Dan James closing in on a first-team return, Leeds could be looking to run riot again on Tuesday night.
As Prutton suggested, it is hard to bet against the Whites at this moment in time and if they play anywhere near the level that they are capable of against the Swans, they will continue this remarkable unbeaten run for at least a few more days.
