David Prutton: Leeds United hitting 33 points in Premier League is ‘massive’
David Prutton has insisted that 33 points may be enough for Leeds United to stay in the Premier League this season.
The Whites hit that milestone with the big 3-0 win at Watford last week, and still have six games to play over the next month.
Sky Sports pundit, Prutton, admitted that the win at Vicarage Road was “massive” with others around them struggling massively.

Writing in his latest Yorkshire Evening Post column this morning [18 April], Prutton was thrilled by the latest win.
“Given all of that, it has got to be seen as a positive,” he wrote.
“The win at Watford for Leeds was massive, putting them on to 33 points and you would think that would be enough to stay up given the form of other clubs in and around them.”

Massive.
This recent run of fixtures has been massive for the Whites, and without them, we would have been struggling.
Beating Watford was our most convincing of the lot, and we can’t see Everton or Burnley pulling off a performance or a result like that this season.
With Crystal Palace, Brighton and Brentford still to play as well as Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea – there are games to be won.
Leeds are not in a position where they need to chase anyone down, and that is something that takes off the pressure.
Burnley and Everton are in a place where they need to win games, and that is when every little mistake is seen as huge and the players can’t deal with that.
We’d like to say we’re safe, but nothing is being taken for granted until it is 100% guaranteed at Elland Road.
