David De Gea messages Jack Harrison after new Fiorentina developments
Jack Harrison is already having a bigger impact at Fiorentina than he did at Leeds this season.
Fiorentina, also known as La Viola, were in action on Monday night, as the Serie A side find themselves in an unprecedented relegation battle.
The Florence-based side have been able to make ground in the race for survival, picking up seven points from a possible nine across the last three matches.
They sit level on points but ahead on goal difference with Lecce and Cremonese, who are below them.
Leeds loanee Harrison was in action for the Italian side, completing 90 minutes in their 1-0 win over Pisa, and he has now posted about the win on Instagram.
Teammate David De Gea was quick to respond, leaving a playful comment underneath.
What did David De Gea say to Jack Harrison?
Harrison has not been in Italy long, but the Englishman is trying to become accustomed to his new surroundings.
The winger’s latest Instagram post is proof of that, as his caption was written in Italian.
Fiorentina goalkeeper De Gea appeared to be amused by Harrison’s post and can be seen bantering with his teammate underneath the comments.
The former Manchester United man stated, “Good Italian bro” with an eye and a laughing emoji.

His former teammates are also seemingly keeping tabs on Harrison as well, with Illan Meslier, Willy Gnonto and Harry Gray all liking the post.

How is Jack Harrison performing for Fiorentina?
Fiorentina have an option to buy Harrison for around £6million, and Leeds will be hoping he performs well enough for that to be triggered.
The Englishman had fallen out of Daniel Farke’s plans at Elland Road, and there does not seem to be any future for him in LS11.
Harrison has made four league appearances for the Serie A outfit, with two of those being starts, and having a total of 253 minutes so far, just ten shy of his total this season in the Premier League.
In those minutes, Harrison has already managed to pick up an assist at his new club, and according to Sofascore, he has a 6.5 average rating at Fiorentina.
The winger has not been a world beater by any stretch, but if his performances can help keep La Viola up, then he could very well move there long-term.
