Leeds United are almost certain to win promotion to the Premier League, according to data experts Euro Club Index.
The Yorkshire Evening Post have reported their findings via their website and it is predicted that Leeds have a whopping 92.95 per cent chance of ending their 16-year absence from the Premier League.
West Brom are predicted to join the Whites in the top-flight with them having a 92.06 per cent chance of going up.
As for the title, current leaders Leeds, who hold a one-point advantage over West Brom with nine matches to play, are slight favourites at 49.99 per cent while the Baggies have a 47.41 per cent chance of lifting the Championship trophy.
Of course, all of this depends on whether the 2019/20 season can reconvene due to the coronavirus outbreak in the United Kingdom.
Football was put on pause earlier this month and it seems unlikely that any matches will be played for at least a couple of months.
By then, a lot could change because players will have had a long period without training with their team-mates, momentum could be lost and tactics will have to be relearned. There is also the issue regarding contracts and loan deals that usually expire in June.
We hope that Leeds will not be hurt too much by this break in action and are able to pick up where they left off otherwise those percentages could change drastically.
In other Leeds United news, Curtis Davies has made a worrying claim about the season.
