Adrian Durham was caught belting out Marching on Together live on talkSPORT this afternoon as he discussed Leeds United.
The Whites are in scintillating form at this current moment of the season, winning three games in a row after that huge 2-1 victory at Manchester City.
Marcelo Bielsa has transformed the club from top to bottom, and could guide them to a top-half finish in our first season back in the Premier League.
Speaking live on talkSPORT after watching Durham go crazy, Gough was almost left speechless at the host, who has become a massive fan.
“He’s lost it,” he joked.
“I really embarrassed him at the World Cup with a group of Leeds fans.”
Durham responded and claimed that he would support the Whites when choosing a second team if his side didn’t exist.
“What a great song. I’ve always said that if my club didn’t exist, I would support Leeds.”
Change of tune.
We love our new popularity in all levels of media, although it still takes some getting used to listening to these figures bigging up the Whites.
After years of being slammed and tormented for nearly a decade, that has completely turned around with everyone starting to become fans, rather than haters.
Should we push on to another level next season and the years to follow, we can only imagine just how big it is going to get, if, for example, we reach Europe.
Bielsa is the man to definitely take the Whites there, and with some more signings, it would be easily achievable past this season.
Durham is the latest member of the fan club, one that is only going to get bigger.
