Daniel James suffers fresh blow away from Leeds United
Daniel James had an outstanding season for Leeds United, but missed the final few games through injury.
James was a crucial figure as Daniel Farke’s side sealed promotion from the Championship, and the Whites will look to him as a key player next season.
Leeds won the title in style with some big wins in the final few games of the campaign, but James found himself sidelined after some frustrating injury issues.
The winger has now faced further frustration, as he will miss Wales’ upcoming World Cup qualifying match against Belgium.

James ruled out of Belgium v Wales
James has now recovered from his injury issues, but the 27-year-old has suffered a different kind of setback as he has been ruled out of Wales’ trip to Belgium.
Having missed Wales’ clash with Liechtenstein with illness, James has failed to recover from his sickness in time to face Belgium.

It is an important game for Wales, who sit top of their qualifying group with seven points from three games, but they will face tough opposition in Belgium.
The Leeds attacker would have hoped to play a part, but he will not travel with his teammates for their trip to face the Belgians, as confirmed by boss Craig Bellamy on Sunday (8 June).
James has point to prove next season
James already has a lot of Premier League experience with both Manchester United and Leeds, but he still has a point to prove as he makes the step up next season.
While James was one of the best players in the Championship this season, many have questioned whether he can succeed as a key player for Leeds in the top flight.
Injuries restricted him to 36 Championship appearances this season, but he will hope that a rest and a full pre-season mean that he can hit the ground running again at the start of the campaign.
James has made 106 Premier League appearances, scoring 12 and providing 13 assists, but the bulk of his performances came when he was much younger.
Now in his prime, the winger will aim to establish himself as a Premier League player, and will hope to beat the drop with Leeds despite fierce competition in the relegation battle.
