Daniel Farke vulnerable at Leeds United after Brendan Rodgers latest
Leeds United could potentially replace Daniel Farke with former Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.
Daily Mail journalist Ian Ladyman believes the German manager may get sacked soon as the Whites sit just one point above the Premier League relegation zone.
Sean Dyche got Farke’s number at the City Ground on 9 November, with the West Yorkshire outfit losing 3-1 after taking the lead through Lukas Nmecha.
49ers Enterprises aren’t expected to make a change at Elland Road, but things may change as the Peacocks face a challenging run of fixtures after the November international break.

Brendan Rodgers availability to worry Daniel Farke at Leeds United
Rodgers’ situation right now makes every manager in the lower half of the Premier League a bit more “vulnerable”, Ladyman says.
While the journalist doesn’t think Farke deserves the sack at Elland Road, there’s a possibility he might lose his job sooner rather than later.
Having won back-to-back William Hill Premiership titles at Celtic, the former Liverpool boss resigned at Parkhead after difficulties this season in Scotland.
Ladyman wrote in the Daily Mail on 10 November: “Now we are eleven games in and Leeds are on a bit of a sticky run with only one win in six and games against Aston Villa, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool to come the other side of the international break.”
“Farke doesn’t deserve the sack. Far from it. But that doesn’t mean he won’t get it. And the moment Rodgers left Celtic a couple of weeks ago, every manager in the lower half of the Premier League became a little more vulnerable.”
Paraag Marathe backed Farke in the summer as speculation emerged about the 49-year-old head coach’s future despite winning the Championship title, and now the American owners could potentially have to revisit that question again.

Daniel Farke set for heartbreak at Elland Road over Christmas period
It feels like Farke’s sacking at Elland Road is inevitable, considering the extreme pressure he’s under.
Leeds fans immediately start getting on the former Norwich City boss’ back after a loss, and the atmosphere in LS11 doesn’t inspire much confidence.
| Team | Venue | Date |
| Aston Villa | Home | 23/11/25 |
| Manchester City | Away | 29/11/25 |
| Chelsea | Home | 3/12/25 |
| Liverpool | Home | 6/12/25 |
The Whites’ supporters will consider themselves lucky to get at least three points in their next four league matches, with Aston Villa, Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool their next opponents.
Then, before the turn of the year, the West Yorkshire outfit face Brentford, Crystal Palace and Sunderland, and failure to put in decent performances may lead to Farke’s end at Elland Road.
