Gudmundsson has been impressive at Elland Road since joining from LOSC Lille in the summer, and the West Yorkshire outfit’s decision to go all out for him has proven fruitful.
However, the 26-year-old has been unable to contribute positively to his national team of late, but fans will hope that doesn’t affect his confidence in LS11.
Daniel Farke will hope to avoid Leeds United sack
Farke’s primary objective at Elland Road is Premier League survival this season, and he looks on course to achieve that.
The German manager’s future at Leeds was in question in the summer after winning the Championship title, but he’s had a decent start to the 2025-26 campaign.
Team | Matches played | Points |
Switzerland | 4 | 10 |
Kosovo | 4 | 7 |
Slovenia | 4 | 3 |
Sweden | 4 | 1 |
If the former Norwich City boss manages to keep the Whites in a comfortable position over the coming months, then his future will likely be secured.
Although the West Yorkshire outfit have some tough games coming up before the festive period, which could potentially change Farke’s situation at Elland Road.
