‘Daniel Farke should have walked away at Leeds’ if he wasn’t happy with 49ers promises
Paraag Marathe made it no secret that Leeds United were going to back Daniel Farke after their return to the Premier League.
Leeds did spend over £100million in the summer, but many have questioned several of those signings.
Money was pumped into the defence and midfield, with Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin both arriving on free transfers to strengthen in the final third.
Marathe and his team have not been impressed with some signings, but it feels as though most of the blame is trying to be shifted onto Farke himself.

Daniel Farke told he could have left Leeds United
Some Leeds fans have started to back Farke over the owners because of the summer transfer window, saying promises weren’t delivered on.
Simon Jordan agreed with several callers on talkSPORT, saying that if promises haven’t been delivered on, then managers have every right to complain.
The ex-Crystal Palace owner did, however, insist that if Farke wasn’t happen with what transpired over the summer, he could easily have walked away himself.
“That’s what people should have to do,” Jordan said.
“If the board had promised him something and then didn’t deliver, he’d have every right to whine about it.
“If they haven’t promised him that and told him, ‘We understand what you want, but this is what you’re getting,’ and ultimately it’s what they can do, he has no right to whine.
“He can either accept it or leave, and if he accepts it, he shouldn’t be in the press moaning about it.”
Who could replace Daniel Farke?
The most credible links with Leeds have been with Gary O’Neil.
Despite failing at Wolves, O’Neil is being eyed up at Elland Road, with fans not accepting that possibility one bit in LS11.
Brendan Rodgers is another option to take over since his sensational resignation at Celtic earlier in the season, but again, he doesn’t have much backing.
Step forward, Marcelo Bielsa.
El Loco will forever be loved at Elland Road, and Leeds’ links with Bielsa have started again since his apparent slide with the Uruguayan national team.
That is highly unlikely to happen, but a new manager could be on the agenda in the coming weeks.
