Daniel Farke shares Leeds United exit update with European windows still open
Leeds United are looking to finalise their squad, and push for Premier League safety.
The Whites closed out the Premier League transfer window on Monday with Jack Harrison and Harry Gray as the only players to leave the club, while Facundo Buonanotte was the only senior player to come through the door at Elland Road.
Leeds sit 16th in the Premier League, with a crucial bottom-end clash against Nottingham Forest coming up on Friday.
Speaking at his press conference ahead of the six-pointer, manager Daniel Farke has given insight into whether there will be any more outgoings, with the transfer window still open in Turkey and other parts of the world where the football calendar differs.
Daniel Farke gives update on potential Leeds outgoings
Traditionally, the transfer window closes later in Turkey than for other European leagues. This year, that day is Friday.
It wouldn’t be the first time that sides have made use of this, with Manchester City and Manchester United offloading both Ederson and Andre Onana after the closing of the English window over the summer.
On this, Farke said: “That’s a problem I have, as soon as you think it’s closed, there’s a window open somewhere else.
“Aware that a few options are possible, I think it’s unlikely. No one has told me he wants to leave. I am fully convinced we will work with this group,” he added.
Both Jack Harrison and Harry Gray left Leeds on loan in January, joining Fiorentina and Rotherham, respectively.
Farke added: “I can’t rule out anything, but up until today, no one apart from Jack Harrison has told me he wants to leave.”

Daniel Farke will hope to settle and secure survival
With a crucial six-pointer coming up on Friday, the chance is there for Leeds to move closer to achieving their goal of survival.
The Whites and Forest are level on points, with West Ham sitting in the relegation zone six points behind. Though the Irons are preparing for a much more favourable clash against Burnley this weekend, which could see them gain ground on the loser of Friday’s encounter at Elland Road.
Leeds have an immense home record to their advantage, with Saturday’s loss against Arsenal being their first in five matches on home soil. During that time, they picked up points against the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal.
The hope now for Farke will be to work with a settled squad until the end of the season, and begin to stabilise Leeds in the Premier League.
