Daniel Farke shares Ethan Ampadu injury update after what happened in Leeds United win v Millwall
Daniel Farke has shared an injury update on Ethan Ampadu after what happened in the Leeds United victory against Millwall on Sunday (17 September).
Speaking in a press conference after the game (via LeedsLive, 02:32pm), the Whites boss said the Welsh international picked up a knock in the 3-0 win at The Den.
He added that it is “hopefully just a bruise” for the 23-year-old midfielder and he is able to continue playing as it is a “quick turnaround”, with Leeds facing Hull City on Wednesday (20 September).
Irreplaceable
It’s starting to become pretty clear that Ampadu would be pretty irreplaceable in the Leeds midfielder after another excellent performance against Millwall.
He has been superb since arriving for £7million from Chelsea over the summer, as he is already emerging as a fans’ favourite at Elland Road.

The Welshman does all the dirty work in the middle of the park and is excellent at patrolling in that gap in front of the defence, limiting the opportunities for the opposition to get a shot away at goal.
He grew into the game as it went on against the Lions and showed that he is building up a promising partnership with Archie Gray in midfield.
All those associated with the Whites will be hoping that he is fit to play against Hull in midweek because it would be a real loss if he is unavailable for the fixture.
