Daniel Farke role in transfers at Leeds United revealed after high-profile exits
Daniel Farke will continue to have a “big role” in transfers for Leeds United amid Gretar Steinsson and Jordan Miles’s exits, according to Nancy Froston.
The journalist revealed via The Athletic on Thursday [14 November] that the manager’s involvement remains “crucial” under the ownership of the 49ers.
Farke has previously recommended possible signings, including Ao Tanaka, and will continue to do so despite major changes to the club’s recruitment department.

It has since emerged that Miles will also be departing the club in search of new opportunities just nine months after arriving from Aberdeen, leaving many surprised.
However, it is evident that the Elland Road outfit are determined to make sure these high-profile exits do not affect them with the January transfer window not far away.
There are no plans to bring in a direct replacement for Steinsson, while Alex Davies has been promoted to head of recruitment, replacing Miles [Training Ground Guru].

Nick Hammond, meanwhile, remains a transfer consultant but is set to reduce the number of hours he works at Elland Road [Leeds Live].
Despite all that, it does not seem like Farke will see his responsibilities when it comes to transfers increase, with the owners determined to share tasks among different staff members.
