Daniel Farke pressure verdict emerges at Leeds United amid sack speculation

Daniel Farke isn’t feeling the pressure at Leeds United despite speculation about his future at Elland Road, according to Beren Cross.

The Whites are winless after their first three games in all competitions and pressure has already begun to mount on Farke from some supporters and pundits given the manner of the performances so far.

While it doesn’t seem as though the German is close to the Elland Road exit currently, Leeds Live journalist Cross admits that the Whites boss remains confident in his ability to get Leeds promoted.

Speaking on The Square Ball podcast (19 August, 5:35) he said: “No, he carries himself really well and really confidently.

“He’s not arrogant at all, I don’t get arrogance from him. I think he’s very complimentary, if he feels that Leeds deserved to be beaten he’ll congratulate the opponent, that’s the first thing he says.

“If he’s feeling the pressure, that’s not how it comes across. I think he still has immense confidence in his ability, he’s won the division twice and got 90 points last season regardless of the context around that.

“No, I don’t think it’s coming across publicly at least.”

Will Leeds United sack Daniel Farke amid Elland Road developments?

Farke will know that he needs to get Leeds United firing sooner rather than later if he wants to keep his job at Elland Road, but he will also believe he is the man to get the Whites back to the Premier League this term.

The first few performances of the season have been nowhere near good enough from the German’s side, but he has the best players in his squad sold and has been given very little money to spend to bolster his ranks.

Daniel Farke’s future at Leeds United has been discussed

Ultimately, the team available to him even without the likes of Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter should be challenging at the top of the table. He will know that even if he doesn’t show that when he’s in the public eye.

Hopefully. Farke’s confidence hasn’t been misplaced and he will get the Leeds team firing sooner rather than later.

If the 49ers could support him with a couple of new additions that would certainly make things a lot easier in the long-run.
