Daniel Farke named in national newspaper column after what Leeds United manager has done

Daniel Farke is leading Leeds United “brilliantly” after their performances this calendar year, according to Neil Moxley.

Writing on page 53 of the Sunday People’s print edition on 10 March, the journalist named the Whites in his “who’s hot this week” column, giving special praise to the German boss for picking up 34 points from 12 Championship games and conceding just three goals.

Leeds moved back into the automatic promotion places after the 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Friday (8 March) as Farke looks to secure his side an immediate return to the Premier League this season.

The form Leeds have shown in this calendar year has been nothing short of exceptional as they continue to grind out results.

While the performances haven’t always been eye-catching during this unbeaten run in the league, they’ve found a way to win and have kept things extremely tight at the back.

There are also several players coming in and doing a job rather than just one set of particular players, which is why Farke deserves great credit for how he’s utilising his squad.

The German seems to have now found a way to get the best out of the likes of Patrick Bamford and Willy Gnonto, who were both struggling for form in the first half of the campaign.

If the Whites can keep taking their chances and remain disciplined at the back, then they will have a great chance of achieving automatic promotion come May.

In other Leeds United news, a £20million permanent transfer has been mooted for one Whites loanee.
