Daniel Farke issues fitness admission on Largie Ramazani at Leeds United

Leeds United boss Daniel Farke has revealed it could be “a while” until Largie Ramazini is fit enough to be considered for a place in the starting XI.

The Belgian forward was named on the bench for the Whites’ thrilling 4-3 victory against Swansea on Sunday (24 November) although never made an appearance.

Dan James and Willy Gnonto have impressed in the wide areas while Manor Solomon was on the scoresheet against the Swans with Farke “pleased” with the progress made with his attacking players.

In quotes reported by Leeds United News (25 November), Farke said: “I’m pleased that all my wingers are back. Obviously, with Largie, it might be a while until he is a topic for the starting line-up but training has been beneficial. An option for a few minutes, it is a good situation.”

Largie Ramazani return will be a huge boost for Leeds United

Ramazani has been an excellent pick-up for the Whites and has almost seamlessly filled the boots left by Crysencio Summerville in the summer.

Perhaps the one area of the pitch that Farke’s side is stacked in, is wingers. James, Gnonto, Ramazani and Solomon are all top-level options for a Championship side and all pose different types of threats to opposition defences.

With that said, Ramazani has been remarkable in the games he has played and his return will do wonders for Leeds’ push for promotion.

Heading into the midweek fixtures, Leeds sit top of the Championship for the first time this campaign although a win for Sunderland on Tuesday (26 November) would temporarily dethrone the Whites ahead of their clash with Luton Town.

With the majority of the season still to be played, Farke will benefit massively from having a full squad of players to pick from and utilise in games off the bench.

In other Leeds United news, Chris Sutton was perplexed after a fan expressed his doubts about Daniel Farke.
